Gas turbine major overhaul

A major  inspection is similar to combustion and  hot gas path inspections based on running hours or condition and might differ per type and configuration.

The major inspection of a heavy duty gas turbine will be performed on site as a aeroderivative gas turbine will be done at the MFS workshop.

In both cases the inspections will be performed as per agreed scope.

In order to continue operation of a heavy duty gas turbine driven power plant, MFS offers an engine lease program. 

Additional, if the engine needs to be removed for a major overhaul, our engineers will perform a survey of the gas turbine package including the auxiliaries, enclosure and  all related equipment in order to eliminate any possible issue during start-up, to make sure your gas turbine will continue delivering the expected power and performance.
